MODERN ROMANS: A WARNING FOR AMERICA, BRITAIN AND ISRAEL

Chapter 4

God’s Anger About Violation of His Covenant

To understand why God is going to punish us, I analyzed the books of all the prophets, first, for all our sins mentioned for which God will punish us. Then I looked up all the verses in the Bible where the particular sins are mentioned. This is the picture that emerged.

Our sins most visible to the world are sexual sins such as fornication, adultery and homosexuality; violence, bloodshed and murder including abortion; lying, stealing, greed and covetousness. But those seem to be committed by a large minority of the population, not everyone. Though all these sins are mentioned by the prophets many times, the sins most often mentioned for which our nations will be brought down to slavery are violation of His Covenant with Israel by breaking the Law. This means that God holds us accountable for breaking any of His commandments, statutes and judgments mentioned in the first five books of the Bible. James 2:10 says: “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.”

This means God holds us accountable for violating the first four commandments which teach us how to love God, as much as for the last six commandments that teach us how to love our neighbor. The other statutes and judgments elaborate on these basic commandments. In fact, if we are breaking the first four commandments, we are not worshipping the true God at all, and are in complete violation of the covenant with Israel.

Violations of the last six commandments actually bring their automatic penalty quickly in terms of pain, suffering and anguish because they affect our relationships with our neighbors. The penalty for violation of the first four commandments often does not come swiftly, but is certain, and will be the main cause of defeat in war and slavery, as we will see.

Majority of America and British Commonwealth nations are Christian. One would think they have an advantage over many other countries because they have the Ten Commandments to guide them. But a majority are nominal Christians and do not diligently live by their religion. Almost all violate many terms of their covenant with God. Almost none of them obey the fourth commandment to keep the Sabbath day holy, and Mainstream Christianity worships idols in the form of crosses, statues and images of Jesus and Mary. This will be discussed in greater detail later.

God Expresses Anger for Violating the Covenant

Here are many verses in which God expresses great anger at us for violating our Covenant with Him.

Violating God’s Covenant

Leviticus 26:15, 25,”15 And if you shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that you will not do all my commandments, but that YOU BREAK MY COVENANT…25 …I WILL BRING A SWORD UPON YOU, THAT SHALL AVENGE THE QUARREL OF MY COVENANT: and when you are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy. 26 And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and you shall eat, and not be satisfied. 27 And if you will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me; 28 Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins. 29 And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall you eat [as a result of famines]. 30 And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you. 31 And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savor of your sweet odors. 32 And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it. 33 And I will scatter you among the heathen [national slavery among non-Israelite nations], and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.”

God says if we don’t obey His statutes, judgments and all His commandments, then He will avenge the quarrel of His covenant by allowing us to go through terrible famines, ultimately leading to defeat in war and national slavery.

Deuteronomy 29:14-15, “14 Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath; 15 But with him that stands here with us this day before the Lord our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day [meaning future generations of the Israelites].

Verse 18: “18 Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turns away this day from the Lord our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations…”

The result is described in verses 23-28: “23 And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor bears, nor any grass grows therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the Lord overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath: 24 Even all nations shall say, Wherefore has the Lord done thus unto this land? what means the heat of this great anger? 25 Then men shall say, Because they have FORSAKEN THE COVENANT of the Lord God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt: 26 For they went and served other gods, and worshipped them, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them: 27 And the anger of the Lord was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book: 28 And the Lord rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day.”

Here God identifies forsaking the covenant as worshipping other gods and the punishment will be being rooted out of the land and taken away as slaves.

God actually predicted after making the Covenant that in our prosperity, our people will forsake Him and break our covenant with Him in Deuteronomy 31:16-18, 20, 29:

“16 And the Lord said unto Moses, Behold, you shall sleep with your fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, whither they go to be among them, and WILL FORSAKE ME, AND BREAK MY COVENANT WHICH I HAVE MADE WITH THEM. 17 Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day [‘in that day’ nearly always signifies the end time] , and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us? 18 And I will surely hide my face in that day [again, in the end-time] for all the evils which they shall have wrought, in that they are turned unto other gods…20 For when I shall have brought them into the land which I swore unto their fathers [the incredible blessings conferred on Joseph in Genesis 49:22-26], that flows with milk and honey; and they shall have eaten and filled themselves, and waxen fat [prosperous]; then will they turn unto other gods, and serve them, and provoke me, and break my covenant…29…and evil will befall you in the latter days [always refers to the end-times].

Moses’ successor Joshua also described the end-result of breaking the covenant in Joshua 23:16 as perishing or being removed from the land, “16 WHEN YOU HAVE TRANSGRESSED THE COVENANT OF THE LORD YOUR GOD, which he commanded you, AND HAVE GONE AND SERVED OTHER GODS, and bowed yourselves to them; then shall the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and YOU SHALL PERISH QUICKLY FROM OFF THE GOOD LAND WHICH HE HAS GIVEN UNTO YOU.”

Actually, the end-time catastrophes will be global in scope. The covenant God made with Israel was actually made with Adam and Eve as well at the time of creation. The same terms of the covenant were preached by Noah after the Flood to his entire family, but was rejected by a vast majority. The results of breaking this covenant are described in Isaiah 24:5-6, “5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because THEY HAVE TRANSGRESSED THE LAWS, CHANGED THE ORDINANCE, BROKEN THE EVERLASTING COVENANT. 6 THEREFORE HAS THE CURSE DEVOURED THE EARTH, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.”

Jeremiah 11:9-14 mentions worship of other gods and Baal: “9 And the Lord said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem [applies to America and Britain because Jerusalem was the joint capital of both kingdoms]. 10 THEY ARE TURNED BACK TO THE INIQUITIES OF THEIR FOREFATHERS, WHICH REFUSED TO HEAR MY WORDS; AND THEY WENT AFTER OTHER GODS TO SERVE THEM: THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AND THE HOUSE OF JUDAH HAVE BROKEN MY COVENANT WHICH I MADE WITH THEIR FATHERS. 11 Therefore thus says the Lord, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them. 12 Then shall the cities of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem go, and cry unto the gods unto whom they offer incense: but they shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble. 13 For according to the number of your cities were your gods, O Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem have you set up altars to that shameful thing, even altars to burn incense unto Baal.14 Therefore pray not for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.”

We will show later that mainstream Christianity actually worships Baal and other gods rather than the Jesus of the Bible in its worship practices such as worshipping on Sunday and in Christmas, Easter and other holidays.

God addresses the House of Israel through Ezekiel the prophet in Ezekiel 44:6-7, “6 And you [Ezekiel] shalt say to the rebellious, even to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God; O you house of Israel, let it suffice you of all your abominations, 7 In that you have brought into my sanctuary strangers, uncircumcised in heart, and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to pollute it, even my house, when you offer my bread, the fat and the blood, and THEY HAVE BROKEN MY COVENANT because of all your abominations.”

Hosea the prophet also mentions Israel transgressing the covenant.

Hosea 6:7, “4 “O Ephraim, what shall I do to you? O Judah, what shall I do to you? For your faithfulness is like a morning cloud, And like the early dew it goes away…7 “But like men THEY TRANSGRESSED THE COVENANT; There they dealt treacherously with Me.”

Hosea 8:1, “Set the trumpet to your mouth! HE [THE ENEMY] SHALL COME LIKE AN EAGLE AGAINST THE HOUSE OF THE LORD, BECAUSE THEY HAVE TRANSGRESSED MY COVENANT AND REBELLED AGAINST MY LAW.”

Malachi 2:10-12 (NIV), “ 10 Do we not all have one Father? Did not one God create us? Why do we profane the covenant of our ancestors by being unfaithful to one another? 11 Judah has been unfaithful. A detestable thing has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem: Judah has desecrated the sanctuary the Lord loves by marrying  women who worship a foreign god. 12 As for the man who does this, whoever he may be, may the Lord remove him from the tents of Jacob—even though he brings an offering to the Lord Almighty.”

Transgressing God’s Law

God’s covenant with our ancestors was that we would obey His Law, contained in the first FIVE books of the Bible. Therefore, the equivalent of forsaking the covenant is transgressing God’s Law. Here are several passages in which God’s anger is kindled against us for transgressing His Law.

Isaiah 5:20-29 (NKJV), “20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! 21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, And prudent in their own sight! 22 Woe to men mighty at drinking wine, Woe to men valiant for mixing intoxicating drink, 23 Who justify the wicked for a bribe, And take away justice from the righteous man! 24 Therefore, as the fire devours the stubble, And the flame consumes the chaff, So their root will be as rottenness, And their blossom will ascend like dust; BECAUSE THEY HAVE REJECTED THE LAW OF THE LORD OF HOSTS, AND DESPISED THE WORD OF THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL. 25 Therefore the anger of the Lord is aroused against His people; He has stretched out His hand against them and stricken them, and the hills trembled. Their carcasses were as refuse in the midst of the streets. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still. 26 He will lift up a banner to the nations from afar [meaning invaders], and will whistle to them from the end of the earth; surely they shall come with speed, swiftly. 27 No one will be weary or stumble among them, No one will slumber or sleep; Nor will the belt on their loins be loosed, nor the strap of their sandals be broken; 28 Whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent; Their horses’ hooves will seem like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind. 29 Their roaring will be like a lion, they will roar like young lions; Yes, they will roar and lay hold of the prey; They will carry it away safely, and no one will deliver.”

God here describes the behavior of Israel and Judah in rejecting the Law of God, and the consequences that follow, which is being destroyed in war by powerful nations.

Isaiah 30:9-10, “9 That this is a rebellious people, Lying children, Children who will not hear the law of the Lord; 10 Who say to the seers, “Do not see,” And to the prophets, “Do not prophesy to us right things; Speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits.”

Isaiah 42:24-25, “24 Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the Lord, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law. 25 Therefore he has poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it has set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart.”

Jeremiah the prophet had a great deal to say about Israel breaking God’s Law.

Jeremiah 2:4-8, 11-15 “4 Hear the word of the Lord, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel: 5 Thus says the Lord, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity [meaning idols], and are become vain? 6 Neither said they, Where is the Lord that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt? 7 And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof and the goodness thereof; but when you entered, you defiled my land, and made mine heritage an abomination. 8 The priests said not, Where is the Lord? and THEY THAT HANDLE THE LAW KNEW ME NOT: the pastors [Mainstream Christianity’s priests and preachers] also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal [Baal, a name for Nimrod, is worshipped in Christmas, Easter, Valentine’s Day and other so-called Christian holidays], and walked after things that do not profit…11 Has a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which does not profit. 12 Be astonished, O heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be you very desolate, says the Lord. 13 For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water. 14 Is Israel a servant? is he a home born slave? why is he spoiled? 15 The young lions roared upon him, and yelled, and they made his land waste: his cities are burned without inhabitant.”

It will be proved later how mainstream Christianity worships false gods.

Jeremiah 6:19-26, “19 Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because THEY HAVE NOT HEARKENED UNTO MY WORDS, NOR TO MY LAW, BUT REJECTED IT…20…your burnt offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices sweet unto me. 21 Therefore thus says the Lord, Behold, I will lay stumbling blocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbor and his friend shall perish.”

“22 Thus says the Lord, Behold, a people comes from the north country [refers to Germany at the head of the European Union], and a great nation shall be raised from the sides of the earth. 23 They shall lay hold on bow and spear; they are cruel, and have no mercy; their voice roars like the sea; and they ride upon horses, set in array as men for war against you, O daughter of Zion. 24 We have heard the fame thereof: our hands wax feeble: anguish has taken hold of us, and pain, as of a woman in travail. 25 Go not forth into the field, nor walk by the way; for the sword of the enemy and fear is on every side. 26 O daughter of my people [when the term daughter is used, it refers to the end-time descendants of the ancient Israelites], gird you with sackcloth, and wallow yourself in ashes: make you mourning, as for an only son, most bitter lamentation: for the spoiler [Germany leading a European alliance] shall suddenly come upon us.”

Jeremiah 9:13-16, “13 And the Lord says, Because THEY HAVE FORSAKEN MY LAW WHICH I SET BEFORE THEM, AND HAVE NOT OBEYED MY VOICE, NEITHER WALKED THEREIN; 14 But have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them: 15 Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink. 16 I will scatter them also among the heathen [non-Israelite nations], whom neither they nor their fathers have known: and I will send a sword after them, till I have consumed them.”

Jeremiah 16:9-13, “9 For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your eyes, and in your days, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride. 10 And it shall come to pass, when you shall show this people all these words, and they shall say unto you, Wherefore has the Lord pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the Lord our God? 11 Then shall you say unto them, BECAUSE YOUR FATHERS HAVE FORSAKEN ME, SAYS THE LORD, AND HAVE WALKED AFTER OTHER GODS, AND HAVE SERVED THEM, AND HAVE WORSHIPPED THEM, AND HAVE FORSAKEN ME, AND HAVE NOT KEPT MY LAW; 12 And you have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, you walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me: 13 Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that you know not, neither you nor your fathers; and there shall you serve other gods day and night; where I will not show you favor.”

Jeremiah 32:23, “17 Ah Lord God! behold, You have made the heaven and the earth by your great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for you:…21 And have brought forth your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with great terror; 22 And have given them this land, which you did swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey; 23 And they came in, and possessed it; but they obeyed not your voice, NEITHER WALKED IN YOUR LAW; THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING OF ALL THAT YOU COMMANDED THEM TO DO: THEREFORE YOU HAVE CAUSED ALL THIS EVIL TO COME UPON THEM:

24 Behold the mounts, they are come unto the city to take it; and the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans [The Babylonian system, another prophetic name for the European Alliance], that fight against it, because of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence: and what you have spoken is come to pass; and, behold, you see it.”

Ezekiel 22:26, “26 HER PRIESTS [preachers of various Sunday-keeping churches] HAVE VIOLATED MY LAW, and have profaned my holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they showed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have HID THEIR EYES FROM MY SABBATHS, and I am profaned among them.”

Hosea 4:6-7, “6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because You have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you shalL be no priest to me: SEEING YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN THE LAW OF YOUR GOD, I will also forget your children. 7 As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame.”

Amos 2:4-5, “4 Thus says the Lord; For three transgressions of Judah [the State of Israel], and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; BECAUSE THEY HAVE DESPISED THE LAW OF THE LORD, AND HAVE NOT KEPT HIS COMMANDMENTS, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked: 5 But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.”

Habakkuk 1:4 (NLT), “The LAW HAS BECOME PARALYZED, and there is no justice in the courts. The wicked far outnumber the righteous, so that justice has become perverted.”

Zephaniah 3:4, “4 Her prophets are light and treacherous persons: her priests have polluted the sanctuary, THEY HAVE DONE VIOLENCE TO THE LAW.”

Zechariah 7:12, “12 Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, LEST THEY SHOULD HEAR THE LAW, and the words which the Lord of hosts has sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the Lord of hosts.”

Malachi 2:7-9, “7 For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts. 8 But you are departed out of the way; YOU HAVE CAUSED MANY TO STUMBLE AT THE LAW; you have corrupted the covenant of Levi, says the Lord of hosts. 9 Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as you have not kept my ways, but HAVE BEEN PARTIAL IN THE LAW.”

Mainstream Christianity does not preach keeping the laws of God. They believe they no longer have to keep it after the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. That’s why God is upbraiding America, British Commonwealth nations and the State of Israel.

Iniquities of Israel and Judah

The word iniquity means sin, which is defined as “transgression of the Law.” The prophets mention the iniquities for which Israel and Judah will be punished.

Isaiah 1:4-7, “4 Ah sinful nation, A PEOPLE LADEN WITH INIQUITY, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. 5 Why should you be stricken any more? you will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. 6 From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrefying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment. 7 Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.”

Isaiah 1:13-14 (NKJV), “13 Bring no more futile sacrifices; Incense is an abomination to Me. The New Moons, the Sabbaths, and the calling of assemblies - I CANNOT ENDURE INIQUITY AND THE SACRED MEETING [God says the worship services at Church are iniquity because they are contrary to the way God ordained that He should be worshipped]. 14 Your New Moons and your appointed feasts [Christmas, Good Friday, Easter, Lent, Valentine’s Day etc. and Sunday worship] My soul hates; They are a trouble to Me, I am weary of bearing them.”

Isaiah 22:12-14, “12 And in that day [this phrase refers to the end-time] did the Lord God of hosts call to weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth [call to repent of sins]: 13 And behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen, and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: let us eat and drink; for to morrow we shall die. 14 And it was revealed in mine ears by the Lord of hosts, SURELY THIS INIQUITY [of living it up when God called for mourning and repentance through the preaching of God’s Church] SHALL NOT BE PURGED FROM YOU TILL YOU DIE, saith the Lord God of hosts.”

Isaiah 59:1-2, “Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: 2 But YOUR INIQUITIES HAVE SEPARATED BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR GOD, AND YOUR SINS HAVE HID HIS FACE FROM YOU, THAT HE WILL NOT HEAR.”

Jeremiah 3:12-13, “12 Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, you backsliding Israel, saith the Lord; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, says the Lord, and I will not keep anger for ever. 13 ONLY ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR INIQUITY, THAT YOU HAVE TRANSGRESSED AGAINST THE LORD YOUR GOD, and have scattered your ways to the strangers under every green tree [strange worship practices under trees - Christmas trees], and you have not obeyed my voice, says the Lord.”

Jeremiah 9:2-9, “2 Oh that I [God] had in the wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men; that I might leave my people, and go from them! for they be all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men. 3 And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, says the Lord. 4 Take heed every one of his neighbor, and trust not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbor will walk with slanders. 5 And they will deceive every one his neighbor, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and WEARY THEMSELVES TO COMMIT INIQUITY. 6 Your habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, says the Lord. 7 Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, Behold, I will melt them, and try them; for how shall I do for the daughter of my people? 8 Their tongue is as an arrow shot out; it speaks deceit: one speaks peaceably to his neighbor with his mouth, but in heart he lays his wait. 9 Shall I not visit them for these things? says the Lord: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?”

God describes Judah’s iniquity in Ezekiel 16:49-50, “49 Behold, this was the INIQUITY of your sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. 50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.”

Hosea 8:11-14, “11 Because Ephraim has made many altars to sin, altars shall be unto him to sin. 12 I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing. 13 They sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of mine offerings, and eat it; but the Lord accepts them not; NOW WILL HE REMEMBER THEIR INIQUITY, AND VISIT THEIR SINS: they shall return to Egypt. 14 For Israel has forgotten his Maker, and builds temples; and Judah has multiplied fenced cities: but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the palaces thereof.”

Hosea 9:7-9, “7 The days of visitation are come, the days of recompense are come; Israel shall know it: the prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is mad, FOR THE MULTITUDE OF YOUR INIQUITY, and the great hatred. 8 The watchman of Ephraim was with my God: but the prophet is a snare of a fowler in all his ways, and hatred in the house of his God. 9 They have deeply corrupted themselves…THEREFORE HE WILL REMEMBER THEIR INIQUITY, HE WILL VISIT THEIR SINS.

Hosea 14:1-2, “Return, O Israel, to the Lord your God, FOR YOUR SINS [INIQUITIES] HAVE BROUGHT YOU DOWN. 2 Bring your confessions, and return to the Lord. Say to him, “Forgive all our sins [INIQUITIES] and graciously receive us, so that we may offer you our praises.”

Micah 2:1-3, “WOE TO THEM THAT DEVISE INIQUITY, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand. 2 And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage. 3 Therefore thus says the Lord; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which you shall not remove your necks; neither shall you go haughtily: for this time is evil.”

Micah 3:9-12, “9 Hear this, I pray you, you heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, THAT ABHOR JUDGMENT, AND PERVERT ALL EQUITY. 10 THEY BUILD UP ZION WITH BLOOD, AND JERUSALEM WITH INIQUITY. 11 The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the Lord, and say, Is not the Lord among us? none evil can come upon us. 12 Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem [Since Jerusalem was the capital of the undivided kingdom till the days of King Solomon, this prophecy applies to America, Britain and Israel] shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.”

From all these scriptures we can see that God holds Israel and Judah responsible for breaking His covenant, the requirement of which was obeying the Law, written in the first five books of Moses. And as James 2:10 states, “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.”

The God of Israel is not willing to sell our nations into slavery if our people repent of violating His commandments and return to Him. As He pleads in Jeremiah 3:12-13, He is willing to forgive our sins if we acknowledge them. Each person can sincerely deeply repent of committing sin and receive forgiveness. The Old Testament had the sacrificial system to atone for sin. But after the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, no sacrifices are necessary; just deep genuine repentance.

But what is deep genuine repentance that can qualify for forgiveness of sins?

Deep genuine repentance begins with first acknowledging that a person has sinned, for if one does not know if he has sinned, how can he repent of it. Since sin is the transgression of the Law (1 John 3:4), to acknowledge one’s sin, the sinner must know the Law. That means he must read the Bible regularly and evaluate his conduct against what is written in the law.

Once the sinner acknowledges he has sinned, then he must be willing to change his conduct, in thoughts and actions. That means he must feel deep sorrow for his sinful conduct and then have a desire and also make the choice to change it to conform to the conduct God expects of us as stated in the Law, and further explained in the entire Bible. The sinner must recognize that sin without fail produces pain and suffering in the long run for himself and others. Therefore, the sinner must commit to never sin again and carry out his commitment with determination. The sinner must become a new man in thoughts, actions and character.

How does a person know if he has deeply repented of his sin? He begins to produce fruits worthy of repentance, a change in behavior that conforms with what God expects of us, meaning genuine results from a change of heart.

Do the Americans, British and Jews show such a change in heart towards violations of God’s Law. Far from it. Instead of repenting of their sins, their sinful conduct is multiplying.

God knew what blessings and prosperity would do to our people in the end time. He knows human nature. He has seen it happen many times before what prosperity did to great empires of the past. He knew beforehand that infiltration by German masqueraders, under Satan’s influence will seduce our people to sin. That’s why He prophesied that we would violate our covenant with Him, resulting in the punishments prescribed in the Law.

Though national slavery and great tribulation is prophesied for our people because we will not repent as nations, individuals can repent, turn to God wholeheartedly by keeping all His commandments and receive help from Almighty God to come out alive through the coming Third World War and the other terrible catastrophes that will follow. To understand how anyone can receive God’s help, please read my book “The Only Guaranteed Way to Escape End-Time Catastrophes”, available free on my website.

While God mentions many times that America, British Commonwealth nations and the state of Israel will be punished for breaking the covenant  and transgressing the Law, He is also very specific on how we have violated His ten commandments, and other statutes and judgments. These specific transgressions will be addressed next. We will also look at the record of America and British Commonwealth nations about their obedience to God’s commandments.
